When a set of R&AW officials are asked to create an audit report of Himmat Singh’s “miscellaneous” expenses, a nineteen-year-old theory finally sees a glimmer of light. She is appointed as an undercover agent by CP Saumya Shukla (played by Lara Dutta), a female police officer seeking a promotion. Mentalhood is an Indian Hindi drama web series produced by Rupali Guha under her banner Film Farm India for the online streaming platform ZEE5 & ALT Balaji. AltBalaji and Zee5’s Mentalhood embraces the imperfections, dilemmas and struggles of moms in the age of social media. The show focuses on the life of affluent moms – whether working, stay-at-home or work-from-home – and a single parent (Dino Morea plays a single father to twins) and their kids. Mentalhood is a light-hearted show which appeals to mothers who are facing similar issues in motherhood. While it tries to include other relationship issues, the focus is majorly on good parenting, which makes it extremely preachy.

8. State of Siege: 26/11
series based on the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks of 26/11 titled State of Siege. When Mumbai was under siege in 2008, it was the NSG commandos that came to its rescue. To draw your attention to one of the show’s biggest USP which is that the eight-episode series is based on journalist Sandeep Unnithan’s book Black Tornado.This means that the research and show’s progression is already top-notch. It also means that the series will reveal many unknown facts about the country’s worst terrorist attacks to date. The cinematography of the series is also worth mentioning as the cast shot the entire series using only natural light. The visual impact of not using any artificial lights is quite evident in the series’ pulsating trailer itself.
